Zeidler Partnership Architects and Adamson Associates Architects of Toronto designed the tower for Reichmann International, led by Paul Reichmann. It stands on the site of the Cine Chapultepec. Work began in 1999 and finished in late 2003. The article names The Cantor Seinuk Group as structural engineer, while the infobox names WSP Group.

It has 55 floors and a roof height of 740 feet (225.4 m) in the infobox and 738 feet in the text. It was the tallest building in Latin America from 2003 to 2010. Ninety-six diamond-shaped dampers on the perimeter act like shock absorbers, and the article says it survived a 7.6 earthquake in January 2003 without damage.

About 30,000 square meters of glass cover the south facade. It received LEED certification in 2013. The infobox lists George Soros as owner, while the text says Reichmann kept part ownership until 2013.
