The Sidi Mahrez Mosque stands in the Medina of Tunis, built from 1692 to 1697 by Mohamed Bey El Mouradi, son of Mourad Bey II. It honors Sidi Mahrez, the patron saint of Tunis. The article describes an Ottoman design with similarities to Istanbul's Sultan Ahmed II Mosque and names no architect.

The square prayer hall has a central dome with cupolas at the four corners. Polychrome tiles imported from Iznik in Turkey cover much of the qibla wall and the large pillars that support the dome.

The mosque is 229 feet (70 meters) long, with a maximum height of 101 feet (31 meters). Its interior was renovated in the 1960s, and it is an official historical monument. It is a Sunni mosque.
