San Marco is a Roman Catholic church in Milan. The Augustinians built the Gothic church after 1254, reusing earlier structures. By tradition it honors St. Mark, in thanks for Venice's help against Frederick Barbarossa in the twelfth century. The interior was remodeled in the Baroque style in the seventeenth century. The fourteenth-century campanile was restored and completed in 1885.

Carlo Maciachini restored the facade in 1871. It has a marble portal, an arcaded gallery, a rose window and three saint statues attributed to Giovanni di Balduccio or the Master of Viboldone.

Mozart stayed here for three months in early 1770, and Verdi's Requiem premiered here on May 22, 1874. Inside are frescoes by Gian Paolo Lomazzo and by Camillo Procaccini and Giovanni Battista Crespi. A fourteenth-century Crucifixion was found in 1956.
