Saint-Pol-de-Léon Cathedral, the Cathédrale Saint-Paul-Aurélien, stands in Finistère in Brittany. Saint Paul Aurélien founded a church on the site in the sixth century, and an earlier Romanesque basilica was founded by Bishop Haman. It was the seat of the Bishop of Saint-Pol-de-Léon until the bishopric was abolished under the Concordat of 1801.
The nave, west facade and south porch date from the thirteenth century and show Norman influence, with limestone from Caen. The choir and transept date from the early fifteenth century and are granite. It was completed in the second half of the sixteenth century. Two polygonal, asymmetrical towers rise near 50 meters.
The church is 80 meters long and has 22 altars. It has a Dallam organ of 1657 to 1660 with 2,118 pipes and 16th-century oak choir stalls.
