Nassau Castle is a partly restored ruin on a rock outcrop about 120 meters above the Lahn River in Nassau, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Dudo of Laurenburg, the founder of the House of Nassau, founded it around 1100. His sons Rupert I and Arnold I established themselves there in 1120 and renovated and extended it in 1124.

Henry II the Rich built the late Romanesque palas between 1220 and 1230. The bergfried, five-sided and 33 meters high, dates to the first half of the 14th century. The remaining ruins were destroyed in the last phase of World War II.

Restoration began in 1976 and rebuilt the palas by 1980. Today the palas houses a restaurant, and the bergfried is open to visitors free of charge.
