Nakhal Fort is a large fortification in Oman's Al Batinah Region, about 120 kilometers west of Muscat. It stands on a rocky prominence at the foot of Jebel Nakhal, a spur of the Western Hajar range, and palm orchards surround it. Its origins are dated to before the 7th century.

Omani architects rebuilt it in the 17th century, though the source does not name them. The gateway and towers were added in 1834 and are attributed to Imam Said bin Sultan. The fort follows Omani architectural style and was built around an irregular rock, with some rock jutting into its interiors.

It was fully renovated in 1990. Today it holds a museum of historic guns, run by the Ministry of Tourism, and a goat auction takes place in its grounds every Friday.
