Lakshmi Vilas Palace is in Vadodara, also called Baroda, in Gujarat, India. Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III built it for the Gaekwad family, a Maratha family that ruled the Baroda State. It was completed in 1890.

Sources differ on the architect. One names Robert Chisholm, while the Wikipedia article text names Charles Mant. The style is Indo-Saracenic Revival. The palace had modern amenities for its time, including elevators, and its interior resembles a large European country house.

The compound covers more than 500 acres. It is still the residence of the royal family, and it also holds the Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum building. In the 1930s Maharaja Pratapsinh built a golf course there for European guests.
