The Armenian Church of the Holy Resurrection stands on Armenian Street in Armanitola, old Dhaka. Armenians came to Dhaka mainly for business, trading in jute and leather, and the community was significant in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The church was completed in 1781. A clock tower was added within fifty years, and an earthquake destroyed it in 1897. Agaminus Catchik, an Armenian, donated the land.

The site was an Armenian graveyard before the church was built, and about 350 people are buried there. The church is two stories high, with 27 arched windows and a spiral staircase to the second floor.

No Armenian congregation exists in Dhaka today. The church is regularly offered for services of the Church of Bangladesh. In the 1980s Michael Martin and his family worked to preserve it.
