1000 de La Gauchetière is an office skyscraper at 1000 De la Gauchetière Street West in downtown Montreal, Quebec. It was completed in 1992. Lemay & Associates and Dimakopoulos & Associates were the architects, and the style is Postmodern. The roof is 205 meters tall, and the building has 51 floors.
Under the height definition the city uses, which excludes spires, it is Montreal's tallest building. It has a triangular copper roof and four copper-capped rotunda entrances at the corners of the base. The rotundas were inspired by Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral.
A full-size indoor skating rink occupies the ground-floor atrium and is one of the building's best-known features. The building connects to the underground city, Central Station and the Bonaventure Metro station.
